Beefy, hearty, and satisfying this beef barley soup truly is comfort food at its finest. Add hamburger, some veggies, cook, and serve with some cracked pepper. It’s just that easy! A great one to use up leftover beef in too!
Soup Mix - Beef and Barley
1) In large pot, brown 1-2 lb hamburger with 1 chopped onion and Worcestershire sauce (optional). 2) Add package contents, 10 C water, 28oz can diced tomatoes, and chopped carrot and celery (optional); boil for 5 min, then simmer, covered, for approx 2 hr. Season with salt and pepper. Note: to make 4-5 servings, mix package in ziplock and use half; use half of remaining ingredients.
